Komorebi Falls
Deep in a forest on the island of Kyushu lies this sublime waterfall. I tried for over an hour to capture the aura of calm that pervades this space, but something was missing. Just as I was packing up to leave, the sun filtered through the trees for a few minutes. Komorebi is a Japanese term with no English equivalent; it describes the sensation of sun rays shining through the cracks in a forest.
